My story
Travisbassclub.com is a site where amateur bass fishing people can get to getter and share their stories and ideas. Spent most of my childhood fishing salt water. Put a piece of shrimp on a hook and catch a fish. When I started fresh water fishing I would buy some worms and spend hours at the lake catching little perch or nothing at all. My father- in law took me fishing and I caught my first bass. After that, I was hooked.
I like Lake Travis because it is close to my house and has many great parks to fish. Now that the water in the lake is so low and launching a boat is unlikely. Lately we have been fishing out of kayaks. Kayak fishing is a whole new level of fun and challenge. If enough people are interested I would like to put together an amateur fishing tournament. No motorized vessels. Any thing that floats and has to be paddled would qualify. We would have judges in boats with electric propulsion weighing and document the catches.
